I deleted things but my free space didn't go up

Items you remove go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and stay there for 30 days. They still use space until they leave that album. To get the space back now:

  1. Open the Photos app.
  2. Tap Collections.
  3. Scroll down to Utilities and tap Recently Deleted. Your iPhone may ask for Face ID or your passcode, because this album is locked.
  4. Tap Select.
  5. Tap the ... button, then tap Delete All and confirm.

Then go back to Tidily and tap Check my space, or open Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Emptying Recently Deleted is permanent, so check it first if you're unsure.

Still not seeing the space? Read why iPhone storage doesn't always go up after deleting photos.

Restore purchases

If you bought the upgrade and Tidily doesn't show it, for example on a new phone:

  1. Open Tidily and tap the Settings button.
  2. Tap Restore purchases.

Use the same Apple Account you bought with. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Show items I chose to keep again

When you keep a photo or video, Tidily stops showing it so you don't review it twice. To see them all again:

  1. Open Tidily and tap the Settings button.
  2. Tap Show items I chose to keep again.

Does Tidily upload my photos?

No. Everything runs on your iPhone. See the privacy policy.
